I had a great time this morning visiting with students at Yates Elementary School. Yates Elementary is actually an Arts in Education Magnet School and I loved learning all about exactly what that meant to the students. The kids were a blast to visit with & the teacher who organized my visit was a pleasure to visit with; I loved her enthusiasm and passion for her school and the students. Registered Dietitian, Dianne Fagan and I only had the chance to meet up with first & second graders, but we’re already planning a visit next year for the entire school & I am really looking forward to coming back…
