It’s always fun finding ways to eat 100% pure pumpkin this time of year & one of my favorite ways to do that is to mix it up & serve it up in the form of a Pumpkin Smoothie!
Pumpkin Smoothie by Jodie Fitz
2 cups ice
1 cup fat free milk
6 oz. low fat or light vanilla yogurt
1/2 cup 100% pure pumpkin
1/2 cup peanut butter, reduced fat
3 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoons cocoa powder
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoons vanilla
Add all of the ingredients into the blender, mix it up and serve; with a straw of course :)!
This recipe is a DELICIOUS serve for breakfast or as an after school snack.
Pumpkin: Be certain NOT use the pumpkin pie, be certain to use 100% pure pumpkin.
