Picky Eaters Won’t Taste the Greens in this Strawberry Spinach Smoothie

We’re having a blast getting aquainted with our Blendtec Blender & testing some of our favorite recipes as well as creating new ones throughout the process.  Today we’re sharing our Strawberry Spinach Smoothie recipe.  My youngest was and is a very picky eater; the pickiest of all of my children!  Over the years I became the queen of ‘sneak & tell’.  I would sneak in foods that she ‘thought’ she didn’t like & then after she gave me the ‘thumbs up’ on a recipes, I would tell her what was in it to help open her mind to finding ways to eat foods that are healthy, but won’t eat alone.  She now likes spinach in many recipes & almost expects it to show up in various blends.

One of the things I love about using the Blendtec is that it blends ingredients so well that you can’t see or taste any hidden ingredients, which is a plus when you have a picky eater.  And, if you don’t have a picky eater, these gadgets are equally awesome.  I am very excited to have teamed up with Blendtec & Fidelis Care to bring Smoothie-licious Fun to the site & various communities along with a Blendtec Give-Away from Blendtec.  Click on this link to see how you can register for an opportunity to win one of these amazing blenders.

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Add the frozen strawberries, rice milk, spinach, honey (if desired) and vanilla extract into the blender and blend.
