Cut the honeydew melon in half and remove the seeds.

Use a large melon scoop to create melon balls. You can use a cookie or ice cream scoop, but if they have a release lever on them, just don’t squeeze as you scoop.

Add a stick to the bottom of the melon ball.

Insert the candy eyes into the top of the melon.

Use the black gel to add a smiley face.

Is my honeydew melon ripe? slightly press on the round part on one end where the melon was connected to the vine. If it’s soft & smells sweet, you’ve got a winner!
