Sip on this Grasshopper Fake Shake filled with Healthy Ingredients to Keep it Cool

Grasshopper mint chocolate fake shake

Cool drinks are all the rage during the summer months! And, a Grasshopper Fake Shake is the perfect serve. Grab this recipe to make a delicious treat that’s filled with better sips and surprise ingredients.

Don’t forget to check out our Reese’s Fake Shake from last summer, they’re both winning concoctions that have been kid tested (see below).

Grasshopper Fake Shake by Jodie Fitz

2 -3 cups ice
1 cup Pics low-fat or fat free milk
1 cup baby leaf spinach, fresh
1 ½ tablespoons Price Chopper cocoa powder
1 teaspoon Price Chopper vanilla extract
4 tablespoons Pics honey (approximately ¼ cup)
1 drop of mint extract

Add the ice, milk, spinach, cocoa powder, vanilla & mint extracts and honey into a blender. Blend the ingredients until the ice is fully crushed & the ingredients are well mixed.

The kids will never know there’s spinach in this icy cold fake shake!

Note: You may have to stop half way through the blending process and scrape cocoa powder & honey from the sides with a spatula and then continue to blend the rest of the way.

Honey: You can decrease the honey if you decrease the cocoa powder, this will depend on your family’s taste buds.

Almond Milk: Give this blend a try with almond milk, it’s one of our favorite ways to make it.

Just a Drop? Use an eye dropper (cleaned & for cooking purposes only) to help kids keep this measurement on track!

The Reese’s Fake Shake is a Fitz Family Favorite & made frequently at our counters all year long! Here’s the link.

We hope you enjoy every taste testing sip….
