And at Facebook Kelli S. shared an emergency entertaining tip…she turns no one away, even unexpected company:
“When unexpected guests call to say they are “passing through” and want to visit ( and they will be there in 10-15 minutes) Take a deep breath and take out ordinary pantry items such as: crackers, pretzels & peanuts. Then, add some cheese and fruit,(or whatever you have on hand), put everything in pretty little dishes & bowls. Snip a few flowers from your yard & put in a vase, add a table runner and voila! It is really all about the presentation. Taking what you already have and making it special. Use those pretty dishes that are tucked away, and enjoy them with your guests! They will feel welcomed and impressed as you sit down with and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea! Happy summer! 😎”
