Blueberry Parfait with a Fruit Turtle on Top makes a Healthy Dessert
I created this parfait for part of an oceanic themed event. In the end, it made the list of one of my favorite parfait combos. I love blueberries, although blackberries can be used for the same colorful layers. Using a few key ingredients, I created a fresh blueberry puree and then layered it with the vanilla yogurt. I then topped it off with a little fake, edible sand (a.k.a. crushed graham crackers) and then topped it off with a sea turtle made out of kiwi and green grapes.
This blueberry fruit parfait is perfect for a healthy dessert, can be served for a fun breakfast and/or an afternoon snack.
Not only are these parfaits party friendly, they are so easy that kids can make these from start to finish with their friends for play dates. There’s nothing better than flavorful, kid-friendly recipes to share.
