Chocolate Waffle Sandwich Recipe

This Chocolate Waffle Sandwich Recipe has a trifecta of flavor; chocolate, peanut butter and bananas! YUM…

This recipe is F-I-L-L-I-N-G, so one should do the trick!  They are easy to wrap up for breakfast on the run or even in a lunchbox.

Waffles are a treat at my house; typically a weekend treat.  I’m the queen of waffle and freeze.  I like to double or even triple a recipe.  I let them all cool after they’ve been cooked, wrap them individually in parchment or waxed paper and keep them in the freezer in a snap and seal freezer bag or airtight container until we need them.

When you want to pull them out of the freezer and use them, pop them in the toaster or toaster oven.  Please, please, please don’t use the microwave.  Microwave = soggy outcome and who wants a soggy waffle? YUCK!  We are striving for yum over yuck (wink).

Here is the printable recipe for your convenience;

Extra Waffles? Let the extra waffles cool. Wrap each waffle individually in waxed or parchment paper & place them in a freezer bag & freeze. Simply toast on busy mornings.

Double the Batch! Whenever we make waffles or pancakes, we double the batch & freeze them so that we have breakfast ready in the freezer for an ‘on the run’ morning.
