Chocolate Whip Dip with Strawberries
Looking for a light dessert to serve on Valentine’s Day? Check out this my chocolate whip dip served with Fresh Strawberries!
If you follow along you know that I am all about the QUICK and the EASY when it comes to accommodating our busy schedules. Here is an AWESOMELY delicious, but very simple dessert dip that’s perfect for your family dinner, the upcoming classroom party or to share with that special someone in your life. It’s almost as easy as saying 1, 2, 3! And, better yet…it’s a total crowd pleaser, because dessert dipping fun on Valentine’s Day with strawberries is always a hit!
Chocolate Whip Dip with Strawberries
Ingredients
-  ½ cup white chocolate or dark chocolate morsels
- 4 oz. whipped topping, frozen and thawed
- Fresh StrawberriesÂ
Instructions
- Wash and hull the strawberries. Set aside.
- Thaw the whipped topping completely.
- Melt the chocolate in a glass dish for one minute. The chocolate will not look fully melted until you stir it together; it will melt the rest of the way.
- Let the chocolate set for a minute so that it’s not scalding hot when added into the whipped topping.
- Fold the melted chocolate and whipped topping together.
- Serve chilled as a dip with fresh strawberries.
Wait a Minute: This recipe is not only good for Valentine’s Day = no way! This recipe is GREAT for any time you are entertaining, need a sweet bite or to celebrate Strawberry season.
My Favorite Huller: My favorite strawberry huller is made my Chef n’. Simply search for the Chef n’ Strawberry Huller. It’s a fun little gadget for all ages, but makes strawberry hulling easy for young children.
Kids in the Kitchen: There’s always life skills that children gain with every recipe that they make. Here are a few to focus on when making this dip.
- Fruit prep
- Hulling
- Melting chocolate
- Microwave safety
- Folding
- Following directions
- Measuring
- List making
- Grocery shopping
More Fresh Strawberry Dessert Loving Yum: Fresh strawberries are delicious in desserts so many ways. Here’s is my Strawberry Trifle recipe in a jar! It’s like an upgraded strawberry shortcake must try! This dessert is perfect for Mother’s Day, Picnics or simple Strawberry Season Lovin’ Yum.
