Cookies and Cream Frozen Yogurt Fun
I can’t hit a home run with a baseball and a bat (lol), but I can deliver a little home run fun in the flavor department. Check out this cookies and cream frozen yogurt delight!
This recipe transforms plain frozen vanilla yogurt, not that there’s anything wrong with it, into a whole new flavor blast. There are three layers of scrumptiousness; cookies and cream, the vanilla yogurt and homemade strawberry gel.
As you can see from the photo, with a few steps you can create your very own baseball loving dessert. This recipe is great kid fun, perfect for baseball lovers, a yummy Father’s Day treat or served as just plain old fashioned summer yum fun. Who needs a reason to eat cookies and cream frozen yogurt? Any day works for me!

Cookies and Cream Frozen Yogurt Fun
Ingredients
- Vanilla Frozen Yogurt
- 4 Oreo cookies
- 1 tablespoon chocolate syrup
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 teaspoons tapioca
Instructions
Wash, hull and slice the strawberries to measure one packed cup of sliced strawberries.
Place the strawberries in a mini food processor and pure them well. Pour the strawberries into a saucepan and stir in 2 tablespoons of honey and 2 teaspoons of tapioca. Over medium to low heat, cook the mixture stirring regularly until the mixture is heated and has thickened. Let it cool completely to create a strawberry gel.
Once the mixture is cooled, put it in a cake piping utensil with a wide open writers tip.
Crush the cookies in a mini food processor. Dump the cookie crumbs into a bowl. Using a spoon, stir in the tablespoon of chocolate syrup until the cookie crumbs are well coated. Divide the cookie mixture and pour it onto two plates.
Using a large ice cream scoop, scoop the vanilla frozen yogurt and place it on top of the crushed cookie mixture.
Use the strawberry gel to create baseball lines on the frozen yogurt.
