Goofy Gourd Craft Activity

Ready to have a little family fun?  Check out this Goofy Gourd Craft Activity.  The kids will love it; it’s the perfect family memory maker.

Follow these easy steps…

  1. Go for a hunt through your local Price Chopper/Market 32 Supermarket as a family and discover a whole lot of crafty fun.
  2. Bring your finds home.
  3. Make memories together creating goofy gourds!

It’s that easy.

Skies the limit with where these goof gourds will take you; if you can imagine the silliness you can create the fun.  Maybe you’ll make a Cyclops, give your gourds hair and silly faces, dress them, make them scary, turn them into something you can envision like a fish; we did!  Watch our video, print the supply list and have a whole bunch of creative fun together.

MINIMIZE the MESS!  Make your own messy mat.  Simply take a Price Chopper/Market 32 paper bag, fold it flat and tape it to the counter with tape that will peel easily and not ruin your surface (you have to be the judge of what will and won’t work in your space).  Then, create your goofy gourds on top of the bag so that you can fold up the mess when you are finished and toss it all out! Easy peasy clean up is the way to go….

The Gourds:  I love the gourds you will find at your Price Chopper/Market 32 supermarkets because they have a protective coating on them that will help them to last longer.
