S’more Freeze Pops are Easy to Make
If you’re searching for a delicious cool down kind of treat, check out how to make this S’mores inspired freeze pop out of yogurt. Not only is it a quick recipe that the kids can make, there’s no oven’s involved. Woot! woot!
We LOVE S’mores in general. One of our family favorite S’more combos is made with a Resee’s Cup in the mix. We’ve added that same combo to this recipe and even have a peanut butter alternative that’s peanut and tree nut free.
Check out the printable recipe I’ve added for your printing ease.
- Additional Supplies needed:
- 4 - 5 oz. paper coated cups
- Wooden Craft Sticks *
- 12 oz. vanilla Greek yogurt
- Mini marshmallows
- 2 honey graham crackers
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter or WOWButter®
- 1 1/2 teaspoons cocoa powder
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Divide the vanilla yogurt into 4 paper cups.
Place 8 mini marshmallows into the vanilla yogurt.
Place the graham crackers into a mini chopper, food processor or blender & crush. Equally distribute the crumbs on top of the marshmallows & slightly press down into the vanilla yogurt.
Stir the yogurt, cocoa powder, honey, peanut butter & vanilla extract together. Evenly distribute the mixture into the cups. Add a wooden craft stick to the center.
Place the cups in the freezer overnight.
Nut Allergies: Swap the peanut butter for WOWButter®. You can find this product in the allergy friendly aisle at local Price Chopper & Market 32 Stores.
Greek Yogurt: My favorite vanilla Greek Yogurt is the Cabot Vanilla Bean Greek Yogurt. It’s located in the dairy aisle at your local Price Chopper & Market 32 Stores.
Dairy Free: Swap with your favorite dairy free yogurt alternative located in the dairy aisle at your local Price Chopper & Market 32 Stores
Removing the Cup: The best way to remove the freeze pops from the cups is to clip the edge of the open top with scissors & peel the cup away from the pop.
Wooden craft sticks: You can locate these at your local craft store or in the school supply aisle at your local Price Chopper & Market 32 Stores.
