Making Cheese Dip to go with the Homemade Chips;

1 cup Monterey Pepper Jack cheese, shredded

1 cup low-fat milk

2 tablespoons butter

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon cumin

½ teaspoon onion powder

¼ teaspoon garlic powder

¼ teaspoon dry mustard

In a sauce pan, over medium to low heat, melt the butter. Slowly stir in the flour, cumin, onion powder, garlic powder and dry mustard. Continue to stir until the buttery mixture is smooth. Slowly pour in the milk.  Continue stirring until everything in the pan blends & the milk starts to bubble along the edges. Turn the heat off.  Stir in the shredded cheese.  Continue to stir until the cheese fully melts and everything is fully blended.

Veggie Alternative: You can also prepare and dip fresh cut veggies into this cheesy goodness as an equally yummy alternative.
