Valentines Veggie Pizza
It’s always fun with kids to celebrate the holidays and Valentine’s can be host to all kinds of food fun. This pizza is deliciously easy and veggie packed to make your pizza night or Valentine’s dinner memorable, but simple!
Pizza night is a staple in so many homes. It’s funny how simple traditions and routines can deliver excitement and something we all look forward to sharing. Are we ordering this week? What type of pizza are we going to make this week? Can we have….
This easy pizza idea is something that everyone will love and it will save you time!
Valentine's Veggie Pizza
Ingredients
- 1 cauliflower pizza crust
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 4 - 6 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 - 2 red bell peppers
Instructions
- Place the cauliflower pizza crust on a pizza stone.
- Using a garlic press, add the garlic to the olive oil along with the Italian seasoning and stir them together.
- Basted most of the oil mixture onto the pizza crust and keep some aside.
- Add the shredded mozzarella on top of the crust.
- Wash the pepper. Slice and dice, tossing the seeds and innards.
- Place the dice peppers on top in the shape of a heart.
- Dab a little of the oil mixture on top of the diced peppers.
- Bake the pizza in a preheated oven of 425 degrees for 10 minutes.
Other dough and pre-made crusts: You can use your favorite pre-made crust or traditional pizza dough in place of using the cauliflower crust, but you may have to adjust your baking time.
Dairy Free: You can always swap the mozzarella cheese with your favorite dairy free alternative.
Tomatoes: You can use diced tomatoes instead of peppers if desired. You should remove the center of the tomatoes. The added juice from the center of the tomatoes will cause them to move and slide in the baking process which will alter your finished heart affect.
Dessert and more veggie yum: Looking for dessert? Check out my Red Velvet cupcakes that can be made ahead. These are great for your family dinner or a classroom treat. I make my red velvet cupcakes with a surprise treat inside…beets! WAIT, don’t turn away because you can’t even taste the beets inside this mix. It’s my alternative to a 1/2 cup of red food dye that’s in traditional red velvet cupcakes. Follow the link below and discover just how delicious these are…

Since one of my kids is allergic to gluten, we can’t just run into a pizza place and get a Valentine pizza. Thanks for showing me how to decorate one at home! I featured your idea today on One Creative Weekend! The new party is open. I’d love it if you stopped by, grabbed a featured button, and linked up anything new you’d like to share at OneCreativeMommy.com.
You are so welcome! Do you have a good gluten free pizza crust? I’ll pop over & check out the feature – THANK YOU! Have a wonderful weekend….
