Veggie Sandwich Wrap = Picnic Perfect Recipe
Looking for a new lunch idea? Do you prefer a recipe that’s easy, but light? Want a better bite? Check out this Veggie Sandwich Wrap Recipe. It’s super easy, but definitely delicious and perfect to add to your summer menu collection. It’s great to take to work, to serve the kids or to pack for an upcoming picnic!
I build this Veggie Sandwich Wrap on the FlatOut® Garden Spinach Flatbread; it’s so flavorful. This particular flatbread offers a very mild taste that adds just the right finishing touch to this wrapped layer of flavor, but other wraps and tortillas can be swapped if you can’t find this particular brand.
We love alternatives to traditional, lunchmeat packed sandwiches and this is one delicious option to spread, roll, slice and enjoy that’s filled with fresh crunchy, veggie love.
Veggie Sandwich Wrap
Ingredients
- 1 Garden Spinach FlatOut® Bread
- 2 oz. veggie cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 1/2 teaspoons avocado ranch dressing
- 2 oz. Colby Jack cheese, finely shredded
- ¼ cup bell peppers, finely diced (yellow, orange or red)
- 3 Baby carrots, diced
- Fresh baby leaf spinach
Instructions
Slice and dice the baby carrots.
Stir the baby carrots, cream cheese, ranch dressing and Colby Jack Cheese together.
Wash and slice the peppers into thin strips; discard the seeds.
Spread the cream cheese mixture onto a FlatOut® bread. Add the fresh baby leaf spinach and sliced pieces of bell pepper.
Roll the bread and slice to serve.
Notes
The Avocado Ranch: You can typically find the avocado ranch dressing in the coolers in the produce aisle at your local supermarket. However, you can use your favorite ranch dressing if preferred.
The flatbread: Often the FlatOut® Garden Spinach Flatbread is located on a special display in the deli area at your local supermarket. Other favorite wraps can be used as a substitute.
More Wrap Options: Looking for other sandwich alternatives? Check out one of my all time, long standing favorites; My Peanut Apple Wrap! It’s my swap and trade for peanut butter and jelly complete with fresh fruit and my peanut butter spread. Follow the link below the picture for the recipe.
It’s a great lunchbox pack, after school snack, parent loving lunch, picnic packing bite!
