Did I mention that it’s easy? ‘Easy’ really is the best ingredient in any smoothie; actually any recipe.

When do you like to drink your smoothies? I’m typically a breakfast smoothie sipper, but they’re great any time of the day. I used to serve them for after school snacks, playdates and summer fun yum when my kids were young. I’m glad to report that my love for smoothies has been passed on to all three of my not so small kiddos; they still love their smoothie slurps just like their mom.

Vanilla Yogurt: If you use vanilla-flavored yogurt or a vanilla yogurt alternative; add it, blend, and taste before deciding if you want to add the honey; the vanilla yogurt may add just the right amount of sweetness.
